The Omnia Oven is a popular camping oven in Europe and is quickly spreading across America’s camping community. See why for yourself with this easy recipe!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz box 16 elbow macaroni

  • 3-1/2 Tbsp 3-1/2 butter

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 flour

  • 2/3 cup 2/3 milk

  • 2/3 cup 2/3 cream

  • 1 tsp 1 garlic powder

  • 1 tsp 1 salt

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 black pepper

  • 2/3 cup 2/3 grated cheese

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 dried breadcrumbs

Directions

  • Bring a large pan of salted water to boil. Cook the macaroni, about 1 minute less than directed on the package. Drain and set aside.
  • In a separate saucepan, melt the butter and whisk in the flour. Then whisk in the milk and cream, bring to a simmer, and let cook for a minute or two so that it is mixed well. Add 2/3 of the grated cheese and stir until melted. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce. Pour into a greased Omnia Pan or use the Omnia Silicone Mold.
  • Top with the rest of the cheese and the breadcrumbs.
  • Bake at high heat on stove or grill for about 20 minutes until the macaroni begins to brown on the top.
