These sausage & potato foil packets couldn’t be easier or tastier! We prefer using our camping grill, but you can also put them in your RV oven at 375°F or over the campfire, avoiding direct flames until the potatoes are cooked through.


  • 12-14 oz 12-14 Smoked sausage links or rope, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 1.5 lbs 1.5 Yukon gold potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 2 cups 2 cabbage, shredded

  • 2 Tbsp 2 Parsley, chopped

  • 4 Tbsp 4 Butter, melted

  • Salt & pepper to taste


  • Preheat grill to medium to high heat. Cut four large square sheets of foil (appx. 8 x 12 inches) and coat with cooking spray.
  • Combine and toss all ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Evenly divide mixture onto 4 foil sheets. Fold foil over mixture and completely seal the middle and ends by double folding them.
  • Place on grill, cover, and grill until potatoes are tender, for about 25 minutes.
